After what seems like a very long break I'm back. Amongst other things the main news is the Covid pandemic, which stopped our meetings dead in their tracks back in March 2020. all our members continue in good health but the sad news is that the church where we have met for over thirty years is unlikely to reopen and we find ourselves homeless. At the moment it is not clear when we would be able to start our regular meetings again but when we do it will be at a new, yet to be determined venue.
For now then all we have is our on-line presence and an occasional socially distanced outing to a gallery. While the weather holds we are having an 'Art-in-the-Park' session in Rothwell Park, meeting at 10:30 for a sketch and a socially distanced chat, bring your own chair, however at some point these will be curtailed by the weather.
Keep watching us, and if you fancy a new post-lockdown hobby/challenge of painting and live in the Rothwell/Methley area or adjacent, please get in touch to reserve your place once we are able to resume - and have a new home to go to!
